La Pointe Aux Canonniers: In this unspoilt natural setting with abundant greenery, the colonial-style Club Med bungalows of La Pointe aux Canonniers, gently rise above lush green lawns awash with hibiscus.

In this atmosphere of variety, you will discover this renovated Resort with new tastes and sensations.

There are two magnificent beaches available to you:

The first, main beach stretches over a distance of 900m of fine, white coral sand with a defined bathing area. This beach is equipped with deckchairs, parasols and showers.

The other beach, situated well away from the heart of the Resort, is 180m long. This beach is equipped with deckchairs and parasols. Both are public beaches.

North-west coast – 5kms from Grand Bay.

Golf - La Pointe aux Canonniers

A stroke " pitched " is a stroke executed when the player is near the green and when he has to raise the ball; therefore, players can train for this type of exercise.

Activity arranged by the discovery excursions office. The pleasure of playing on superb courses, including Le Golf Belle Mare, The Links at Le Tamarina Golf Estate. And also the golf courses at Trou aux Biches, Ile aux Cerfs, Le Telfere... Golf Belle Mare, The Links, 45 minutes from the Resort, is dotted with volcanic rocks and was designed by Rodney Wright & Peter Alliss. Designed by Rodney Wright and also 45 minutes from the Resort, the Tamarina Golf Estate, with a par of 72, extends over 7,200 metres. With 5 different tee-offs for each hole, Tamarina allows golfers of all levels to have a wonderful golfing experience.

You can follow the course on foot, or for greater comfort, on one of the golf buggies available for hire (or included in the 3 green fee package, on sale when you reserve).

Tamarina Golf Estate and Beach Club will enchant the most demanding golfer.

This new course designed by the architect Rodney Wright, stretches over 150 hectares of the estate which is next to the Tamarin Bay.

With its refined decor, this restaurant is in the style of a large colonial house.  The world cuisine buffets are an ideal accompaniment for all your meals.

The restaurant terrace is a smoking area.

The Paul et Virginie

Awarded "Table Coup de Coeur" status.
This restaurant is in an idyllic setting on the edge of the beach, a few meters  from the ocean. In the shade of a palm tree, this restaurant offers a daytime service of late breakfast and lunch. In the evenings, enjoy waiter   service in an atmosphere of quiet refinement.
Evening meals must be booked in advance at Reception. This is a non-smoking area.

Bars:

The Mauritius

With its warm decor ideal for a romantic late evening cocktail, this bar welcomes you all day and, in a lounge atmosphere, for part of the night.
The bar also offers a snack service, a cigar cellar (subject to an additional charge) and a bar area dedicated to children.
Tea time from 4.30 to 5.30pm to enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats together with flavoured teas.
Open from 10am to 2am.

The Paul et Virginie

Facing the ocean, this bar provides you with an idyllic setting all day long.  

In the evening, the bar comes to life again as soon as the nightclub opens, offering a wide range of cocktails for you to try beneath the stars.
Open from 10am to 7.30pm and 11pm to 2am.
