Dit was wonderlik! Ons het dit baie geniet. Ek was baie beindruk met Paradise Sun en sal dit vir enige iemand aanbeveel.
Middag etes , drankies vir aandete en ekskursies was duur wat my so bietjie omkant gevang het maar andersins wat dit die moeite werd.

Our holiday was amazing. We had a really great time at the hotel. The staff at the hotel were welcoming, helpful and always friendly.
 
The hotel is clean and well kept and has the most beautiful views.
 
We did a bit of touring with the White Sands tour company and this was also a lovely experience.
 
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be going back to Mauritius for another holiday.

Please could you give us a quote on next year(last week of feb/first week March) for at least 7 days for 2 adults, 2 kids (a 5 year old and a 2 year old)

for both club meds and a separate quote for my sister(2 adults and 2 kids) think children are 11 and 13, not quite sure. And for this year, 2009, for end Oct. please.

Will certainly start saving for another trip.

Hi Alta,

We had a wonderful time at Blue Lagoon Hotel! The service and staff were great and it is a lovely hotel.  I do think the south of the island is underrated.  Friends told us the weather is bad on that side of the island and there is more to do in the North, but we hired a car for the day and drove around the island and I must say I find the South East coast exceptionally beautiful and unspoilt and much prefer it to the west coast.  Perhaps because we are used to the rural Wild Coast here and it is very much like that.

I think you could promote this hotel to other guests with a happy heart, they won’t be disappointed.  Being smaller than the other hotels the service is better and more personal.

Thompson’s were great, met us at the airport and sent a rep to see us the next day. The only thing we did not get was our folder with the necessary info, so we had to find out about tours and things for ourselves by asking hotel staff, where we could have known about them from day one.  Some one at Thompson’s slipped up a bit and never gave us a folder at the airport. But it was no train smash, we hired a car from the hotel, and chartered boats through the local’s etc, so it was a bit of an adventure!

Thanks we had a great Honeymoon. Our room was excellent, close to the beach and in a quiet part of the resort. Service, Food and Coctails at La Piroque was definitely of highest standard. We were also very happy with the Water Sport activities at the resort.

Thanks for enquiring. It was really amazing, Paradise!

We loved both LE Coco and La reserve.  The guides, Joseph at Le Coco, and Ron and Francis and Jacques? on the boat at La Reserve were wonderful.

I definitely would go back to Praslin. However, I think I would rather go for self-catering. We did not really enjoy the food, especially the dinner. it was a five course meal but not to our taste.I suppose they are going the French way, but it was not  palatable.
The prices were quite ridiculous. But what will forever stick in my mind is being charged for Sparkling water at La Reserve for a ridiculous amount of Euro 8-00! And for a small bottle! About +R100-00! Whereas a bottle of Sprite is  Euro 2-00.

We preferred the beach at Le Coco, where we swimming with lots of fish and the kids were snorkelling all the time.

And the  excursions at La Reserve were better. Complimentary tours on their boat amazing.

All in all, we thoroughly loved it. I just said forget about the food, and just take in the beauty of the surroundings and the different Islands and appreciate all that beauty.

The trip was amazing. We were a bit concerned when we just landed in Mauritius as there was a cyclone approaching. Luckily for us it passed the island.

The Hotel was amazing, but I think that they could improve a bit on the food.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely be going back again – hopefully it will be soon.

Thanks for the mail. We had an absolutely amazing time and were quite sad when our honeymoon came to an end.

When we arrived, they were overbooked however we went on a 3 day 2 night cruise on a yacht. Thereafter due to the “inconvenience” we were upgraded at no extra cost to a Jacuzzi Water Villa. It was simply stunning.

Thanks again for all the preparations, we had enough cash to enjoy the excursions they have on offer as well as shopping at the local markets. The only additional advice I would recommend to any traveller is to take the All Inclusive option. Even though we hardly drink alcohol, I highly recommend this option as the softdrinks and water outside that of the package is rather expensive and the All inclusive option is definitely value for money.

Of the North Male Atoll, I would recommend Meeru above all other islands. It maintains a rustic island atmosphere with quality service and hospitality. I would definitely choose Meeru again should I want a tropical paradise holiday.

Thanks for enquiring about our holiday.

The resort architecture, rooms, weather and meals were fabulous however it was a very stressful week for us as they had lots of children and babies as guests. I would recommend the resort to families with kids but not to honeymooners or couples who do not have children.

Next time we will check the resorts policy on children.

The whole experience was amazing. It was a real highlight.

From the moment we boarded the plane up to the moment we landed 9 days later was a blast!!

Even though the traveling is a small mission on its own the experience on the Emirates flights was tops.

The time on the island/Kani Village will be in our memories for a long time. We had great fun …

My wife and I had a great time in Mauritius. I particularly enjoyed the beach and the water activities, while my wife enjoyed the shopping and food. The travel arrangements i.e. flights and transfers, went well without any hiccups. The hotel is good enough to stay in as long as not much is expected of it. There were pockets of good service but generally it was average. The rooms were alright, nothing smashing but they do have the basics. The best thing for me about the hotel is its location, ‘better’ hotels in the area do not have direct access to the beach.

Although we had a cool time for various reasons I don’t think I’d go back, I’m actually contemplating Egypt for our next trip, but it was an exciting experience.

Thanks for all your help and effort in ensuring we have a great honeymoon, you did a good job! Until we engage again for another trip I hope life treats you well.

Thank you for your excellent work in organising our holiday so well.

All the travel arrangements worked well, and the Paradise Sun Hotel lived up to our full expectations. We found the Islands to be enchanting and the whole family was in agreement that this was the best holiday we had ever had.

A word in your ear, the drinks allowance per person for duty free import into Seychelles is two litres of hard liquor plus two litres of wine. Fortunately we were able to make our supplies last the week, but a longer holiday would have been costly! We were also very impressed that the hotel allowed us to drink our own wine at the dining table without charging corkage, and they should be complimented for this. To us this was an important concession as from a South African perspective the wines from the wine list at the table were fearfully expensive.

Please also convey these complimentary remarks to your colleagues at Seyunique.

Went very well, nice hotel, good weather, friendly people. All arrangements were excellent. The plane was a bit of a disappointment and we arrived there some 4 or 5 hours late in the middle of the night. People had very positive things to say about 1-time airline, who also fly there direct. Better schedules, on time etc.

Just wanted to let you know that we are back from our Maldives honeymoon and wish to thank you so much for organising it all.

The trip went smoothly and the Club Med was absolutely fabulous in all respects. From the pick-up and transfer at 3am to the drop off a week later, we really couldnt have asked for more. We were treated so well and in such a friendly manner that has made the trip and our honeymoon unforgettable.

The beach was amazing, snorkelling too wonderful for words and food splendid.  I can't rave about it enough.

On arrival at my wifes mothers in South Africa, I was pleased to see the tickets, the travel bags and insurance details. The wallet for the tickets was a nice touch and helped simplify things....we were married in South Africa as you know and there were a million and one things to sort out!

The transfers were all easy and it was good to be met at the airport on arrival.

The Sands Resort is in a spectacular setting and quite luxurious. The staff were attentive and very friendly and the facilities were great. A few tennis matches between my wife and myself !

The only comment we would make is that in our opinion, the food at dinner in the resturant did not match up to a 4 star hotel........ lacking in taste (apart from curried) and on one occasion we left after looking at the menu in the evening to travel to a resturant that was recommended by a Mauritian. My wife has extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry, having owned and run restaurants in Africa so we do have some experience of fine dining. 

We had a honeymoon dinner in the a la carte resturant in the hotel and that was of a different standard and far superior. It's the only negative comment I can make and as I say it just seemed unusual for a 4 star hotel not to offer matching cuisine. 

But the Sands Resort and Mauritius offered a relaxing time in a lovely setting  after a hectic few months!   

Mauritius left an impression on my wife and I and we were glad to have chosen such a place for our honeymoon.

Your superlative help and service was appreciated and so much better than you would receive here in the UK!

 I had confidence in your organisation from the start and would not hesitate in using you again to plan a trip.

The honeymoon was a huge success, thanks for following up.

We had an incredible time and will never forget it. The weather was a bit rainy for the first 2 days, but got warmer as the week on.

It was a little windy, but having 3 beach's to choose from, we could avoid it and just relax on the deck chairs by the beach.

The hotel and facilities was stunning, the room was amazing with a great view, the food was mouth watering (ate far too much food),

The pancakes and cocktails by the bar every afternoon, were great, and we made good use of it.

The all inclusive package is such a great idea, not having to worry about a single bill, being able to eat and drink as much as you like all day!!!

We were really well looked after and treated like royalty....a life style I wish I could live like forever.

We did a few non inclusive activities - Catamaran trip along the west coast and an under sea walk....breath taking both of them and highly recommended.

A bit pricy, but good value for money.  We also did most of the inclusive water sports and had tons of fun.

We have recommended this trip to everyone we know and we have started saving to go back there for our 5th wedding anniversary....hopefully sooner.

We had a little trouble with the trip back to the airport as one of the guests we were picking up was 45 minutes late and we were a little scared we might miss the flight back home. But in the end we made it, a little stressed (not what we wonted from de-stressing for 7 days) but all in all, this little hick-up, was not too bad. I would suggest to the tour bus company that if a person is not ready to be collected, they should be left behind.

We took loads of beautiful pictures and bought some great souvenirs so we will always remember the trip !!

Bandos is definately recommended, although not a real problem for me, but none of the accommodation really had a seaview, except of the couple of water villas, but other than that its a very very nice place to go to.

Ja, ons is terug.

Dit was wonderlik. Alles het gegaan volgens plan.

Die hotel gee net nie baie inligting oor aktiwiteite wat by die hotel is nie.

Ons het drie dae later gehoor dat die “free drinks en snacks” wat in ons dokumentasie gemeld word, beskikbaar is by die “club house”. Ons het nie eers geweet waar is die “club house” nie (weg gesteek op die verste punt van die hotel terrein).

Kos was baie lekker (het gewig opgetel, hehehe).

Verder was die mense baie behulpsaam en vriendelik.

Ligging van die hotel is perfek as jy nie ‘n persoon is vir “shopping en jol”. Dit is lekker rustig en ons kon lekker ontspan.

Al is die hotel aan die Suide van die eiland, kan ‘n mens nogsteets met gemak ander aktiwiteite op die eiland bywoon.

Ons het alles ekstra deur Thompson Tours gereel (baie profesioneel en gerieflik, hulle kom sien jou by die hotel en bespreek alles wat beskikbaar is op die eiland).

Ons het op die Catamaran gegaan (‘n moet vir enige iemand wat Mauritius toe gaan), Quad biking en ‘n begeleide toer na die Noorde van die eiland.

Ons het ook drie ander honeymoon couples by die hotel ontmoet (2 van ZA en 1 van UK). Lekker saam gekuier en aktiwiteit inligting met mekaar gedeel.

Die weer was lekker maar ongelukkig is die ligging van die hotel van so ‘n aard dat ons meeste van die tyd wind op die strand gehad het.

Ons kon maklik nog ‘n week daar gebly het, net jammer die kostes tussen een week en twee is so groot verskil.

Weereens, baie dankie vir alles.
