Well we just wanted to write and say we have been and
are back from our Maldives Holiday, and wanted to thank
you for all your efficient service and that of Martitza
in your absence when we had to postpone our trip.
We had a wonderful time, warm sun, warm water, great
snorkelling and the resort was great, the flight via
Dubai was a bit long, with lots of waiting so next time
we will fly direct Jhb - Male, but the Maldives bug had
bitten, so we will definitely return and try another
island .....
We will use yoour company again, everything went so
smooothly, no hitches, well organised and we are very
appreciative of that.

Our vacation at Pearle Beach was fantastic. The
resort was wonderful and its location right on
the beach was perfect. The rooms, food and
drinks were also excellent. We enjoyed all the
free activities at the hotel and the snorkeling
was the greatest.
One week was actually too short for a 1st
time visit to Mauritius as we needed more time
to explore Mauritius and have extra days to lie
in the sun.
This trip was good value for money. Thanks for
the experience!

We found the accommodation at Paradise Sun really
great, so as to their staff. Very helpful! Really
great location on Praslin. Only thing is as to

Dear Billie,
We enjoyed our honeymoon and Ephelia was very
impressive. What we did have a problem with was the
Creole travel services on the Island. Their system
isn't very efficient, as only one person (named
Bessy) is able to help you but there is always a
queue of people waiting for her whilst the other
reps don't/can't help you despite them being able to
speak English and not helping anyone. Therefore,
after us waiting half an hour to see Bessy (on her
request) we had to join a group where only French
was being spoken and thus we didn't know what was
going on and didn't want to waste time. The second
experience we weren't too happy about was when we
went on a snorkeling expedition (arranged by Creole)
and were put in the 'English-speaking' group,
however the guide spoke about 80% German and 20%
English even though half of the couples could only
speak/understand English and the Germans all
understood English.
Other than that the trip went smoothly, thank you
for organizing everything.

Yes, was very nice!
Masons travel picked us up and dropped us off – very
professional – on time, no hassles.
Didn’t need early check in, they took us straight to
our room at 10h00 already and had upgraded us to a
seaside pool villa cause we were on honeymoon.
Rooms are super luxurious with an outside shower,
inside shower, bath, air conditioning, safe, minibar,
kettle, tv with dstv, dvd player with a whole
library of dvd’s.
Service was very good – 3 meals a day, 4 restaurants
to choose from, each villa has its own bicycles, all
watersports are free, all tours to neighbouring
islands (except Praslin) and boat snorkelling trips
are free.
Staff were very friendly and helpful – you can see
they take pride in their resort.
Your service was very good – everthing worked out
just as it was on the itenerary.

To say that it was enjoyable would be an
understatement. IT WAS FANTASTIC.
Everything was perfect, the hotel, the room,
facilities, food, service, staff everything. I
could not fault it in any way. It was one of the
best holidays I have ever had and would
recomment the resort to everyone I know.
The service from you was as perfect. I was a bit
sceptical in the beginning as I was
communicating purely via email, but you made me
feel extrtemely comforable. I would like to look
at the Seyshells next.

Thank you, it was a most enjoyable time. We were
initially very worried about the construction issue but
once we got there we were totally unaffected by it.
Beautiful spot, very friendly staff. I would however
encourage then to provide a room service facility but on
the whole we had a great time. Perhaps a few more
motorised watersports or ferry systems to get off the
island cheaply and see something else would be
recommended as 7 days on the same island with similar
programmes can get a bit tedious. We did do the Robinson
excusion which was great too. Thanks for all your help |

holiday was awesome. We had a fantastic time.
Weather was hot albeit a few thundershowers that do
not last longer than an hour.
The
chalets are definitely the better accommodation at
the resort. The breakfast is mediocre and can be
improved. The gardens are well maintained at the
resort. Service levels at the airport in Seychelles
seriously needs to be improved. Upon arrival we
waited more than an hour in the immigration queue -
the main reason being slow, uninterested and
unenthusiastic immigration officers. Needless to say
upon departing the flight was delayed by an hour for
the very same reason.

Only problem was that we were booked on the wing
seat all the way and every bump or wind turbulence
was felt so I have a little sore back.

The staff at the resort were fantastic. It was very
difficult to go to the prayer on that day 12th
due to all the traffic.
We used a smaller temple nearby. We did visit the
main temple a day earlier.

Sorry, I only opened my Email today!
Sun Island is amazing. I have been to Mauritius ,
Seychelles (Praslin) but nothing compares with that
Island. I used to walk around the Island every day
about 1.5 hrs and along the way just jump in the
water and start again. Low tide would be in one area
and the other side with good sea waves and you also
have the reef.
Marine life is in abundance. Kids went snorkeling
every day, and I have never seen so many sting rays
especially along the reef.
We all just loved it.

Thanks for your email, we had a fantastic time in
Mauritius. The Movenpick Resort is beautiful, the rooms
are well appointed, the position is perfect and the
grounds are lovely. The food at the Resort was also
excellent. There were however 2 specific problems, which
we plan to take up with the Movenpick Group and
Thompsons. Firstly, what was offered in the Thompsons
letter and what the hotel offered were two different
things. For example the Thompsons letter specifies that
lunch can be taken at the beach restaurant but the hotel
said lunch for the all inclusive was at the buffet. I
eventually put my foot down and insisted on eating at
the beach restaurant, which was more favourable to us.
Secondly, in various areas there was extremely poor
management. For example we battled to have our room made
up timeously, there were often seating issues at the
restaurant, maintenance for the room was useless etc.
The hotel need to realise if they wish people to return
this cannot be the case. It appears that they were
extremely understaffed for the period - not our problem
though.
Otherwise we had a fantastic time and hope to be in
contact in the not too distant future about going again.

Om mee te begin die vakansie by Club Med was
fantasties, ons sal defnitief weer gaan. Julle
kan dit maar vir die mense vertel wat ek nou
gaan tik:
Om mee te begin die Club Med groep doen baie
moeite om hul gaste gelukkig en besig te hou.
Daar was nie n dag wat ons verveeld was nie. Met
die aankom in Kuantan het die Club Med bus
alreed vir ons gewag, en ons na die oord geneem.
Met die aankom het n mens al die gesellige
admosfeer van die oord beleef, met n hele span
G.O 's wat jou inwag om jou welkom te heet..
Ons was na ons kamer geneem om te gaan uitpak,
en n bietjie rus na die lang vlug.
Die ete was besonders gewees, Daar was ses lande
se tradisionele kos om elke dag by elke ete van
te kies. Dit was kos van China, Japan, Indonisia,
Italia, Westers, en Frankryk.
Moet tog nie dink jy kan van elke land iets proe
nie dit was net eenvoudig onmoontlik.
By die etes was die gewoonte dat n G.O by jou
tafel kom aansit om saam met jou te eet.
Dit het ons nie gepla nie want dit was lekker om
van elkeen te hoor by watter Club Med hulle al
gewerk het.
Na ete in die aand was daar n vertooning van so
30-45min lank waar hulle die Club se mense aan
die gang gehou het met dans vetonings en selfs n
sirkus vetoning en ook DVD's van die kinders se
dag aktiwiteite. Daar word baie aandag gegee aan
die kinders om hulle besig te hou in die dag.
Die plek waar die Club gelee is is fantasies,
met n pragtige tuin en n 2de privaat strand wat
ook n restaurant het, waar jy kan gaan eet as jy
daar is, en n Bar op die strand.
In die aan na 1am as die Bar toemaak gaan die
G.O's en verander die tema van die oord met die
gevolg as jy die volgende oggend opstaan is die
oor in n ander tema geklee.
Wat ons sal voorstel vind by die Club uit watse
temas gaan vir die week wees dat die volgende
vakansie gangers die tipe van klere kan saamvat
as hul het. Dit is maar soos alles swart een
aand, of wit en pienk of blomme ens..
Daar was self Pool Partys in die aan die swembad
waar jy met n lekker Cocktail jou dors kan les.
Wel ons het dit baie geniet, en Baie dankie vir
julle uitstekende diens.
Ons sal beslis weer met jul besigheid doen.
Wat dalk van die Bahamas vir volgende jaar?

initially got was on the third floor, so we

Everything regarding your bookings went
perfectly!! Thank you so much!
The weather was a bit up and down, and it was
also something to get use to paying in Euros!
(It definitely is very expensive for South
Africans).
The worst was to pay R70 for 2 cups of coffee,
but we took it as part of the experience.
The hotel and service was to die for!! The only
‘critism’ I have is that their night
entertainment was poor in comparison with the
other 2 resorts I have been to.
Be assured that I will definitely make use of
your service in the future.

Our holiday was amazing. We had a really great time
at the hotel. The staff at the hotel were welcoming,
helpful and always friendly.
The hotel is clean and well kept and has the most
beautiful views.
We did a bit of touring with the White Sands tour
company and this was also a lovely experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely
be going back to Mauritius for another holiday.

We had a wonderful time at Blue Lagoon Hotel! The
service and staff were great and it is a lovely hotel.
I do think the south of the island is underrated.
Friends told us the weather is bad on that side of the
island and there is more to do in the North, but we
hired a car for the day and drove around the island and
I must say I find the South East coast exceptionally
beautiful and unspoilt and much prefer it to the west
coast. Perhaps because we are used to the rural Wild
Coast here and it is very much like that.
I think you could promote this hotel to other guests
with a happy heart, they won’t be disappointed. Being
smaller than the other hotels the service is better and
more personal.
Thompson’s were great, met us at the airport and sent a
rep to see us the next day. The only thing we did not
get was our folder with the necessary info, so we had to
find out about tours and things for ourselves by asking
hotel staff, where we could have known about them from
day one. Some one at Thompson’s slipped up a bit and
never gave us a folder at the airport. But it was no
train smash, we hired a car from the hotel, and
chartered boats through the local’s etc, so it was a bit
of an adventure!

We loved both LE Coco and La
reserve. The guides, Joseph at Le Coco, and Ron and
Francis and Jacques? on the boat at La Reserve were
wonderful.
I definitely would go back to
Praslin. However, I think I would rather go for
self-catering. We did not really enjoy the food,
especially the dinner. it was a five course meal but not
to our taste.I suppose they are going the French way,
but it was not palatable.
The prices were quite ridiculous. But what will forever
stick in my mind is being charged for Sparkling water at
La Reserve for a ridiculous amount of Euro 8-00! And
for a small bottle! About +R100-00! Whereas a bottle of
Sprite is Euro 2-00.
We preferred the beach at Le Coco,
where we swimming with lots of fish and the kids were
snorkelling all the time.
And the excursions at La Reserve
were better. Complimentary tours on their boat amazing.
All in all, we thoroughly loved it.
I just said forget about the food, and just take in the
beauty of the surroundings and the different Islands and
appreciate all that beauty.

Thanks for the mail. We had an absolutely amazing time
and were quite sad when our honeymoon came to an end.
When we arrived, they were overbooked however we went on
a 3 day 2 night cruise on a yacht. Thereafter due to the
“inconvenience” we were upgraded at no extra cost to a
Jacuzzi Water Villa. It was simply stunning.
Thanks again for all the preparations, we had enough
cash to enjoy the excursions they have on offer as well
as shopping at the local markets. The only additional
advice I would recommend to any traveller is to take the
All Inclusive option. Even though we hardly drink
alcohol, I highly recommend this option as the
softdrinks and water outside that of the package is
rather expensive and the All inclusive option is
definitely value for money.
Of the North Male Atoll, I would recommend Meeru above
all other islands. It maintains a rustic island
atmosphere with quality service and hospitality. I would
definitely choose Meeru again should I want a tropical
paradise holiday.

The resort architecture, rooms, weather and meals were
fabulous however it was a very stressful week for us as
they had lots of children and babies as guests. I would
recommend the resort to families with kids but not to
honeymooners or couples who do not have children.

My wife and I had a great time in Mauritius. I
particularly enjoyed the beach and the water activities,
while my wife enjoyed the shopping and food. The travel
arrangements i.e. flights and transfers, went well
without any hiccups. The hotel is good enough to stay in
as long as not much is expected of it. There were
pockets of good service but generally it was average.
The rooms were alright, nothing smashing but they do
have the basics. The best thing for me about the hotel
is its location, ‘better’ hotels in the area do not have
direct access to the beach.
Although we had a cool time for various reasons I don’t
think I’d go back, I’m actually contemplating Egypt for
our next trip, but it was an exciting experience.

the travel arrangements worked well, and the Paradise
Sun Hotel lived up to our full expectations. We found
the Islands to be enchanting and the whole family was in
agreement that this was the best holiday we had ever
had.
A
word in your ear, the drinks allowance per person for
duty free import into Seychelles is two litres of hard
liquor plus two litres of wine. Fortunately we
were able to make our supplies last the week, but a
longer holiday would have been costly! We were also very
impressed that the hotel allowed us to drink our own
wine at the dining table without charging corkage, and
they should be complimented for this. To us this was an
important concession as from a South African
perspective the wines from the wine list at the table
were fearfully expensive.
Please also convey these complimentary remarks to your
colleagues at Seyunique.

Just wanted to let you know that we are back from our
Maldives honeymoon and wish to thank you so much for
organising it all.
The trip went smoothly and the Club Med was absolutely
fabulous in all respects. From the pick-up and transfer
at 3am to the drop off a week later, we really couldnt
have asked for more. We were treated so well and in such
a friendly manner that has made the trip and our
honeymoon unforgettable.
The beach was amazing, snorkelling too wonderful for
words and food splendid. I can't rave about it enough.

recommendations made our honeymoon as special as it was.

for your email, in reply I can say your service was
first rate.
On
arrival at my wifes mothers in South Africa, I was
pleased to see the tickets, the travel bags and
insurance details. The wallet for the tickets was a nice
touch and helped simplify things....we were married in
South Africa as you know and there were a million and
one things to sort out!
The
transfers were all easy and it was good to be met at the
airport on arrival.
The
Sands Resort is in a spectacular setting and quite
luxurious. The staff were attentive and very friendly
and the facilities were great. A few tennis matches
between my wife and myself !
The
only comment we would make is that in our opinion, the
food at dinner in the resturant did not match up to a 4
star hotel........ lacking in taste (apart from curried)
and on one occasion we left after looking at the menu in
the evening to travel to a resturant that was
recommended by a Mauritian. My wife has extensive
knowledge of the hospitality industry, having owned and
run restaurants in Africa so we do have some experience
of fine dining.
We had
a honeymoon dinner in the a la carte resturant in the
hotel and that was of a different standard and far
superior. It's the only negative comment I can make and
as I say it just seemed unusual for a 4 star hotel not
to offer matching cuisine.
But the
Sands Resort and Mauritius offered a relaxing time in a
lovely setting after a hectic few months!
Mauritius left an impression on my wife and I and we
were glad to have chosen such a place for our honeymoon.
Your
superlative help and service was appreciated and so much
better than you would receive here in the UK!
I had
confidence in your organisation from the start and would
not hesitate in using you again to plan a trip.

Hi Alta,
The honeymoon was a huge success, thanks for following
up.
We had an incredible time and will never forget it. The
weather was a bit rainy for the first 2 days, but got
warmer as the week on.
It was a little windy, but having 3 beach's to choose
from, we could avoid it and just relax on the deck
chairs by the beach.
The hotel and facilities was stunning, the room was
amazing with a great view, the food was mouth
watering (ate far too much food),
The pancakes and cocktails by the bar every afternoon,
were great, and we made good use of it.
The all inclusive package is such a great idea, not
having to worry about a single bill, being able to eat
and drink as much as you like all day!!!
We were really well looked after and treated like
royalty....a life style I wish I could live like
forever.
We did a few non inclusive activities - Catamaran trip
along the west coast and an under sea walk....breath
taking both of them and highly recommended.
A bit pricy, but good value for money. We also did most of the inclusive water
sports and had tons of fun.
We have recommended this trip to everyone we know and we
have started saving to go back there for our 5th wedding
anniversary....hopefully sooner.
We had a little trouble with the trip back to the
airport as one of the guests we were picking up was 45
minutes late and we were a little scared we might miss
the flight back home. But in the end we made it, a
little stressed (not what we wonted from de-stressing
for 7 days) but all in all, this little hick-up, was not
too bad. I would suggest to the tour bus company that if
a person is not ready to be collected, they should be
left behind.
We took loads of beautiful pictures and bought some
great souvenirs so we will always remember the trip !!

to organise future holidays.

Ja, ons is terug.
Dit was wonderlik. Alles het gegaan volgens plan.
Die hotel gee net nie baie inligting oor aktiwiteite wat by die
hotel is nie.
Ons het drie dae later gehoor dat die “free drinks en snacks” wat
in ons dokumentasie gemeld word, beskikbaar is by die
“club house”. Ons het nie eers geweet waar is die “club
house” nie (weg gesteek op die verste punt van die hotel
terrein).
Kos
was baie lekker (het gewig opgetel, hehehe).
Verder was die mense baie behulpsaam en vriendelik.
Ligging van die hotel is perfek as jy nie ‘n persoon is vir
“shopping en jol”. Dit is lekker rustig en ons kon
lekker ontspan.
Al is die hotel aan die Suide van die eiland, kan ‘n mens
nogsteets met gemak ander aktiwiteite op die eiland
bywoon.
Ons het alles ekstra deur Thompson Tours gereel (baie
profesioneel en gerieflik, hulle kom sien jou by die
hotel en bespreek alles wat beskikbaar is op die eiland).
Ons het op die Catamaran gegaan (‘n moet vir enige iemand wat
Mauritius toe gaan), Quad biking en ‘n begeleide toer na
die Noorde van die eiland.
Ons het ook drie ander honeymoon couples by die hotel ontmoet (2
van ZA en 1 van UK). Lekker saam gekuier en aktiwiteit
inligting met mekaar gedeel.
Die weer was lekker maar ongelukkig is die ligging van die hotel
van so ‘n aard dat ons meeste van die tyd wind op die
strand gehad het.
Ons kon maklik nog ‘n week daar gebly het, net jammer die kostes
tussen een week en twee is so groot verskil.
Weereens, baie dankie vir alles.
